Hawtree Ltd. designed the first 18 holes of this course in the early 1990’s and in 2007 an additional 9 holes was opened.
The new 9 holes have been designed to follow the same principles as the rest of the course, but with a slightly more demanding layout testing the course management and playing skills of the players.
I was in charge of the detailed design and supervision during construction on behalf of Hawtree Ltd.
The new holes were opened with a spectacular match featuring Colin Montgomery, Ian Woosnam, Søren Hansen and Iben Tinning.
