Thomnille - Who are we?
A little about how it all started
We bought our Maine Coon, Houston, the 31 august 2008. At this point, we've already visited two cat shows and decided that we had to try bring Houston to one of these shows. The show was a succes and we quickly became hooked and we are now visiting cat shows a few times a year.
We quickly found out, that one cat wasen't enough, so we began searching for one more, but ended up buying two amazing brothers, Rover and Ferrari, from the same litter. They were brought home at the 8th of February 2009.
Shortly after moving into our new house, we started talking about starting a small cattery . Therefor, we have been working on finding somebeautiful
cats to start our breeding program.
We have now bought our boy Marshal from Jungleman, our female Gloria from Germany and another female Xtreme from Sweden.
Marshal is a really big cat, and with Gloria he made us some big kittens. Especially the girls gor quite big. Marshall, Gloria and Xtreme is to be found under "Gallery of Ancestors"
About us
Thomas (born 1984) is a Computer Science (graduated December 2008) and works by JN Data in Silkeborg, while I, Pernille (born 1986) is working with social and healthcare (graduated 30th of June 2011).
We have been dating since November 2003 and married since August 2017.
In June 2012 our first son, August, was born. He is very good at playing with the cats and is very interested about our kittens.
Our second son, Cornelius, was born in December 2013, and is also very fond of playing with the cats and kittens. He will lie down in front of a cat, look it in its eyes, hug it and start petting it. It looks very comfy.
Our youngest son, Valdemar, was born in December 2016. He is alredy very interested in the cats and follows them with his eyes. He loves the fur and wants to 'kiss' the cats.
We have arranged a space for the litterboxes, the food at he water in our room for teck. From here the cats cat use the cat flap in to our dirt room where tehy have a big scratching post. Both cats and kids have learned that these two rooms are 'safe rooms' for the cats. In our living room, shelves have been hanged for the cats to jump in and lie on. A few trinkets have been glues on, to make it look like the shelves are there for decorating, but in this way we don't have to worry about stuff being pushed down.
