40 Years of SCD in Brussels

Join us to celebrate 40 years of Scottish Country Dancing in Belgium!

The Anniversary Ball takes place in a beautiful Art Nouveau building by famous architect Victor Horta, now home to the Belgian Comic Strip Center / Centre Belge de la Bande Dessinée.
And you get free access to the exhibition before the Ball!
 
Music will be played by none other than Muriel Johnstone and Keith Smith.
 
On Sunday, join us for a guided bus tour in the streets of Brussels featuring Art Nouveau houses. The guided tour will start from the Comic Strip Centre and will last approximately 3 hours. the tour will be by bus. We will finish off in style with a champagne brunch in another spectacular Art Nouveau Building also home to an interesting museum, the Music Instrument Museum (MiM).
 
Price for the ball (including bubbles, cake and a visit to the Comic Strip Center): 40 euros
Sightseeing: 20 euros
Brunch: 30 euros
(book both sightseeing and brunch and get it for 48 euros)

Be aware that we have limited places so do book early to avoid disappointment. Please register using our online registration form.
 
To secure your place, we kindly ask you to pay within 2 weeks from our confirmation email. Please do not send any money before you have received an email with the bank account details.

19:30 - Ball
23:30 - End of evening
(There will be a break half way through the evening)
 
Sunday 5 May
10:00 - Start of guided tour from the Comic Strip Centre (NB:limited places)
13:00 - Brunch at the Music Instrument Museum (NB: limited places)
