She introduces the film by Cecil B. DeMille and quotes lyrics from “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” becoming merry, then weepy on the line and saying “she was alone, tiny little fragile thing.”

Lana sits next to Dr. Thredson, who tells her that he’s afraid something bad has happened to Wendy, but the police are too sure they have their suspect to investigate. Lana quickly excuses herself to join the escaping conspirators, clued in that Kit is not Bloody Face.
