The ecology, behaviour & ecophysiology of cnidarians and their fish and crustacean symbionts. Aquaculture, particular sustainable coral & coral reef fish culture. Conservation. Journalism. Underwater photography. Design, layout and publishing of books.

- Certified, experienced TEM, SEM & LM user.
- Successful culture of several anemonefish species (>10.000 specimens) & stony corals.
- Staff management, design, construction and maintenance of aquaculture facilities/aquariums.
- Teaching, lecturing & supervision in behavior, ecology, ecophysiology and morphology (including TEM, SEM & LM). Science language - research paper preparation & publication.
