I am a portrait photographer living in Sevenoaks. I became seriuos about the art of photography when my son was born 8 years ago. It was then, that I discovered a fascination of photography and the ability to capture our special moments. I have since explored this interest - devoted a lot of my time to experimenting and learning more about photography.
My greatest joy and achievement is to capture an image of a person, when he or she is showing their unique personality. I view photography as an art and an opportunity to capture a person in a special moment, which they and their family can treasure.
I find images everywhere that I go and prefer to take photos in natural surroundings - a park, a beach, at home etc. - where most people feel relaxed and comfortable. This way I am able to get closer and get that unique shot, which can often be hard to catch. This is especially important when photographing babies and children.
I am Danish and have lived in England since 2001. My career was in law before I became full-time photographer.
