I was so happy to get invited to WAC at Grand Canaria, but as always it took a full month to prepere. First day the theme was „Treasures of the world“.
I was planning to do the front as an Egyptian style, and the back as falling babys... Kids are (well, in many peoples opinion) the real tressures of the world.
But the model had to come in dressed af the faces from Easter island.
I builded an gigantic headpice that could open and reviel yet another (Egyptian) bodypaint, but it was lige 40 degrees hot and she had to were the headgear for like 7 hours. Poor girl, but brave!
First step was to make the headpice. Masks and a 3-pice front that could [...]open. Major problem, as it had to be light as well. Læs mere...↑
The base of the Easter island-head at the front. When put together the head [...]was complete. Læs mere...↑
I also made #Glowes# for the hands. Closed in front of the models face [...]it was a goddis, but opend and turned, the fit ind shapes of her headpice. Complicated...? Oh yes! Læs mere...↑
Here Im painting the other site of the 1,5 meter headpice. The part could be [...]seperated so she "Only" had to were the middle part before going to stage. Læs mere...↑
Doing the paintjob... the model dosend know whats about to come... Yet.
After putting on the headgear, time for a pep-talk-
This is the backside with the falling, oh, swimming i mean, childern.
The finist bodypaint, model on her way to photoshot.
Close up.
