Im born in Copenhagen 1974, (På Bjerget 30) the address - På Bjerget, means on the mountain, is quite an exotic name.. even though its in the city and no mountains is to find there or in the rest of Denmark. :) I miss that place so much - it was a great childhood with lots of friends there. But places changes and so do people, and today im pretty happy living in this small village, Nivaa (since 89) - north of Copenhagen, with only 29.000 citizens. My family not only lives in Denmark, but also Sweden, USA, Canada and Israel. I have visited my dear family in Miami a couple of times... I miss them all and think of them every day. My mother who are Danish/Swedish is creative like i am and she also paint and draw and she's really good at it. She is the one who have motivated me to do all these creative things and made me develop some creative skills through my childhood, building theatres, making dolls, painting and drawing etc. my grandfather on my mothers sid was also and artist - he was a painter and had several big exhibitions in and around copenhagen. He even had some at the famous place Charlottenborg in CPH. We have kept his artbook and it shows us an artlist of hundreds of paintings that was sold. My sweet grandmother on mothers side was also creative. She was an seamstress and mostly for the church even though she was not a member of it. ;-) She was very skilled and worked all her life. My father is retired but he cant sit still for very long.. he is the best auto mecanic in the world ;) and he still works with cars whenever he can.
I work with alternative treatments and counselling in my own little clinic "The Wing" (wingen) in Hørsholm, not far from where I live. When I dont have any clients, i paint, photograph or make jewellry... I just cant stop being creative. As my father... I cant sit still :) Im autodidact in all I do and I find inspiration in everything and in nothing! I have only been selling my art for a couple of months now... but I have actually painted since 1995. I can wake up in the night with an idea for a painting but sometimes I just let the pencil run its own way...
My background is very colourful just like my art. I have had my own little icecreamcafé, several educations with alternative treatments since 1997, been a cabbie (taxidriver) on and off since 1998, worked as a saleswoman in an office, run a little antiqueshop, been a storemanager with 12 employees and much much more...
My dream is to etablish some artcafés and spa's in and around Copenhagen. But I have lots of projects right now and no one knows where it all ends.
My motto is
Learn to live - dont live to die.
