Tips

Painting terrain is just like painting any other model in your Warhammer army. You use many of the same techniques, and painting your terrain will make your battlefield look really good. Here are some simple step-by-step instructions on how you can paint the terrain that comes in the Battle for Skull Pass boxed set.

Stone. After priming your model black, dry brush the bottom half of the statues and the stones with Codex Grey. Don't worry too much about getting excess grey on other areas, since you can paint over any mistakes with Chaos Black.

Helms and Shields. Paint the helms, shields, and trinkets Brazen Brass. On the shields, leave the recesses black to really make the detail stand out.

Chains. Paint the chains connecting the statues with Chainmail. Its always a good idea after painting with Metal paints to clean out your water pot, as the metal paints can leave metal flecks in the water.

Base. Finally, paint the base with a coat of Goblin Green. Alternately, if you are using a different
