Expedition

The expedition begins in Kangerlussuaq (SønderStrømfjord) on the west coast of Greenland, from there we will walk/ski about 600 km to the small city of Isortoq. Normally commercial expeditions use 30 days on a similar trip, we will try to do it in 15 days or less and set an official world record.

Beside the achievement it self we will focus on the importance of using sunblog as protection against the dangerous rays from the sun while doing psysical activity. Not many people know how dangerous and damaging the sun can be. That is why we have a partnership with the danish cancer association. Read more.

We expect to start walking on the 1. of April 2008. The first day will be a tough up hill struckle, where we need to watch our step, there are many ways of getting injured up there. We will continue to clime up to 2500 m over a distance of 300 km and then, hopefully we will reach the shore on the east coast and watch out for the polar bears. All this within 15 days if we have the luck and the weather on our side.
